Blue Jays and Phillies ace, Halladay dies in plane crash

Today is a sad sad day in the baseball world. Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies star ace Roy Halladay was tragically killed in a plane crash out in the Gulf of Mexico  earlier this afternoon. Halladay played 15 seasons in the MLB, 11 for the Blue Jays and 4 for the Phillies, finishing his career in 2013 due to injuries. He is a one of the few pitchers to ever win 200 games. In 2010 he threw his first career perfect game and the second post-season no-hitter in MLB history playing for the Phillies and making an improbable playoff run. Halladay is a future first ballot Hall of famer and is one of the most respected pitchers of his generation. The Bears continue to rely on their underrated defense and strong run game. The Bulls ha

Philadelphia sports is looking very bright for the future and everyone is loving it. Now lets take a look at the top 10 young studs in Philly. 10. Nick Williams        Probably the biggest acquisition in the Cole Hamels deal, Williams has been a very good offensive weapon for the Phils since he’s been called up. He will most likely be one of the corner outfielders for the future along with Aaron Alterr at the other corner and Odubel Herrera in center field (number 6 on this list) (Williams and Alterr can both play RF and LF but no one knows where they will be for the future) . Nick Williams will be a promising player for hopefully a long time with the Phillies. 9. Aaron Nola        Sometimes I feel like nobo
